“Over the last 35 years I have worked with children and young adults on various art projects, from one day workshops to long term projects, sometimes as part of a public sculpture. Mainly making constructed sculpture and 3D objects in wood, metal, cardboard and paper, taking the groups through the whole design and build process, from generating ideas to painting and presenting. This enables them to develop manual and technical skills, as well as artistic expression. Working collaboratively in groups they also develop a sense of community, sharing and lastly ‘fun’”
